About the event

Community means showing up for one another, especially when life feels a little heavier than usual. My Pay What You Can Haircut events are a small way to make basic haircut services more accessible for those who need them. If a fresh haircut has been out of reach lately, I hope this day can take one thing off your plate. My goal is simple: to create a welcoming space where you can sit in my chair, feel cared for, and leave feeling more confident than when you walked in.

Pay What You Can Haircuts are offered on select dates throughout the year and are available by appointment only. When booking opens, you’ll find a service called “Pay What You Can Haircut” on my booking page. Because these appointments are intended to serve as many people as possible, they’re limited to a simple dry haircut. You’ll find answers to common questions below, including who the event is for, what to expect at your appointment, and how to prepare.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included?

Pay What You Can Haircuts include only a 30 minute dry haircut appointment. This means I will not have time to shampoo or style clients as I want to be able to service as many people as possible. Please arrive with clean, dry, detangled hair.

Who Can Book A Pay What You Can Appointment?

Pay What You Can Haircuts are available to anyone ages 12 and up who could benefit from a simple haircut. Whether you’re getting ready for school, starting a new job, or just need a fresh cut, you’re welcome to book an appointment. Because these appointments are limited and designed to serve as many people as possible, they are reserved for basic haircut services only.

What if I can’t pay anything?

That’s okay. The purpose of this event is to make haircuts more accessible, and there is no minimum payment required. If you’re unable to contribute this time, you’re still welcome to book an appointment. If you’re able to pay a little more, your generosity helps support future Pay What You Can events and allows me to continue offering them to the community.

How do I find your studio?

My studio is located at 915 South Thornton Ave., Dalton, GA 30720. Parking is available behind the building. Please avoid parking in the lots belonging to neighboring businesses.

Because my studio is a small, private space, I ask that you wait in your vehicle until your scheduled appointment time rather than coming inside early. This helps keep the space comfortable and allows me time to prepare for each guest.

Your booking confirmation includes detailed directions to my studio, and you’ll also find a walkthrough video pinned on my social media pages if you’d like to see exactly where to go before your appointment.
